John has been back regularly since 1999 for a variety of
different reasons. He has his own charity called the Loving House Project, which
helps build homes for those in need. He has also given a lot of his time to
help young veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan to cope with the realities of going back to America after their time in combat.
